On January 14, 2008 the Long Island Chapter of the American Culinary Federation held their 15th Annual Awards Dinner, which was attended by 175 top Food Service professionals. This dinner was to honor Long Islands Top Chefs and top Culinary Companies. Lackmann Culinary Services received the most prestigious award for Culinary Excellence. CEO Andrew Lackmann thanked the ACF for this great honor, and noted that this honor was achieved through the great talents of our many dedicated chefs.
The American Culinary Federation is the developer of the “Adopt a Kitchen” program. Through this program American Culinary Federation Chefs volunteer at many of Long Islands soup kitchens. They lend a hand and advise on various aspects such as food preparation, purchasing and sanitation. The ACF also provides scholarships to some of the area’s top young culinary students. We salute them and their efforts in our area!
Lackmann Culinary Services was greatly honored to be chosen for the Culinary Excellence Award from this outstanding organization. We would like to thank them for recognizing the efforts of all of our chefs and Team Members!
