Executive Chef
Location: Orlando, FL
Description:Lackmann Culinary Services is currently looking for an Executive Chef in the Orlando, Florida area. The Executive Chef will provide Food Service for a school of 150 students and a daycare of 90 students; 2 meals and 2 snacks daily, along with a cafe that is open to staff and the public Monday - Friday. Full service catering is also provided 7 days a week if needed.
The ideal candidates will have:
-The ability to be involved with all operations at all times
-Culinary management experience
-Retail food experience
-Catering/Banquet experience
-Experience managing other managers, supervisors, and hourly team members
-Experience leading and training a culinary staff
-Experience with food and labor management systems
-Excellent client relationships
-Excellent guest service skills
-Experience with online ordering systems
Successful candidates...
-Must have a minimum of 5+ years culinary management experience in a food service and retail environment
-Must have strong organizational and oral and written communication skills
-Must have outstanding knowledge of account profitability, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control
-Must be a team player, motivator, and leader
-Must be a motivated self starter who will operate the business like it is their own
-Preferably will have a degree from a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School
-Must have excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation and HACCP
-Must have experience in catering and menu design.
