Food Service Director

Lackmann Culinary Services is currently looking for a Food Service Director in Downtown Manhattan.

Under the general direction of the Area Coordinator, supervises and coordinates the operations of a major multi-unit dining facility and related service; assists in implementing and coordinating corporate programs and special events as assigned; and does related work as required.

The ideal candidates will have:
-College/University experience
-Retail food experience
-Catering experience
-Experience managing other managers, supervisors, and hourly team members
-P&L experience
-Experience with food and labor management systems
-Excellent client relationships
-Excellent guest service skills
-Hiring/Interviewing knowledge
-Must have a minimum of 5 years senior management experience working in a University setting
-Must have strong organizational and oral and written communication skills
-Must have outstanding knowledge of account profitability, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control
-Must be a team player, motivator, and leader
-Must be a motivated self starter who will operate the business like it is their own
-Preferably will have a degree in hospitality or related field
-Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed
