Christian Fischer, C.E.C., C.H.C, K.M.

Corporate Executive Chef

Christian Fishcer has recently joined Lackmann Culinary Services in Woodbury, NY as the Company's Corporate Executive Chef.

Born in pastoral Feldbach in Eastern Austria, Chef Fischer was raised in an environment of quality cuisine. Growing up around his parent’s restaurant, he knew he wanted to be a chef by the time he was eight years old.

Beginning his culinary journey at the Five Star “Stenizer Hotel,” he attended a five-year apprenticeship under Master Chef Ewald Janosh and became a Certified Chef, Baker and Butcher.

As one of the youngest “Küchen Chef’s” in Austria, he quickly gained a formidable reputation as an accomplished chef. He also expanded his culinary career under Master Chef Karl Fürtinger in Germany and by working in Turkey, Italy, Greece and other European countries. He opened his first Three Star traditional European restaurant in his hometown at the age of 19.

Since coming to the U.S., Chef Fischer has held Executive Chef and Corporate Executive Chef positions and owned a Four Star Restaurant in Connecticut for four years.

Recently, as a Nestlé FoodServices Corporate Executive Chef, he assists the company’s Eastern Division sales team. He is specializing in Cook Chill and Sous Vide Operations, he also provides culinary demonstrations, lectures, back of the house assistance with Nestlé products, and menu and recipe development at all levels and segments of the food industry.
