Joseph Rudolph joined the Company 24 years ago and is currently responsible for most of the New York operations. Joe began his career in the hotel/restaurant field at the largest hotel/catering facility on Long Island, Colonie Hill. At Colonie Hill, Joe worked in a variety of positions and became general manager of the hotel in 1984.
In 1986, Joe took over as general manager of Dean Witter, located at the World Trade Center in Manhattan.
Joe’s responsibilities included hiring over 100 employees and managing five different locations at one of Lackmann’s most prestigious accounts.
In 1988, Joe was promoted to District Manager, overseeing food services operations in Manhattan and Long Island. Over the next ten years, Joe’s area of operational responsibilities grew to over $20.0 million, and his expertise in contract food management included colleges and universities, business and industry, clubs, restaurants, executive dining rooms, concessions and vending.
In 1998, Joe was promoted to Assistant Vice President and took on additional responsibilities as Assistant Vice President of Procurement and Operations. In December 2002, Joe was promoted to Regional Operations Vice President and joined the Company’s Executive Committee in May 2003.
Currently, Joe is responsible for six Area Coordinators, 75 Managers and Assistant Managers, and 30 Unit Chefs.
Joe graduated from Suffolk Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1974.
