Michael Mines

Senior Vice President of Finance

Michael Mines joined the Company 16 years ago. He oversees all the Accounting, Banking, Legal, and Business Insurance functions of the Company, as well as serving as the Plan Administrator for the Company's 401K and Section 125 Plans. During his term with Lackmann, he has directed the Information Systems department and served on the Company's Personnel Committee, which oversees all Employee Benefit Programs. Mike has participated in the automation and up-grade of many of the Company's data retrieval systems and oversaw the conversion to a new accounting and internal software platform in 2000. He also has primary responsibility for negotiating most of the Company's client and 3rd party provider contracts. He continues to act as a resource for all of the employee benefit administration.

Mike started his career with Price Waterhouse in 1967 and continued there through 1973 in the audit and Small Business departments. Many of his clients were burgeoning privately held companies, some of whom were taken public, or subsidiaries of international public corporations. In addition, he was very involved in the emerging management advisory services department and was a training coordinator for Price Waterhouse. After leaving Price Waterhouse and before joining Lackmann. Mike served as the chief financial executive and Executive Vice President for a number of privately held importers of various consumer products and a chain of retail optical stores.

Mike has a B.A. in Accounting from Queens College and has an M.B.A. in Controllership from St John’s University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
